if you have been following this blog for a bit, you know how obsessed i am with oxford exchange & i was so thrilled to be invited to the holiday blogger event!
first we socialized in the bookstore. i love getting together with these ladies! it’s a great chance for us to catch up & enjoy the best of tampa.
we moved down the gorgeous lobby & into the stunning atrium.
we got to socialize with executive chef erin guggino & try some delicious party appetizers she prepared.
butternut squash soup & fig with goat cheese.
we met the owners of 7th avenue apothecary. these beautiful candles are sold at oe & are made of soy wax. i most loved hearing about the influence of their family & the impact it has on their business. the kumquat scent honors their grandfather. other interesting scents were tobacco vanilla bourbon & tobacco apple.
owner of oe, allison adams, gave us a tour of this stunning building & provided us nuggets of historical info. when they were renovating, they found remnants of a stable & discovered it may have been a barn originally. allison & her brother, blake casper, came up with oe’s concept as well as creating a commerce club. as a member of the commerce club, you can utilize the perfectly unique conference rooms & stunning custom desks in the open work area (2,500 sq ft).
we went down to the conservatory. this is one of my favorite spots during the day. it makes me feel like i am in nyc.
afterwards, we finished the tour through the dining room & then the store.
i can spend all day here.
i am so grateful to live near such a unique & special spot. oxford exchange topped the night off with providing items for us to share with our readers. this was the icing on the cake!
